Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 cm-thick chips
- 60 ml solid cooking fat, melted
- Sea salt
- 125 ml Garlic ‘Mayo’
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place the sweet potato chips in a large bowl and coat with the cooking fat and salt. Arrange on a few baking trays, making sure that the chips have adequate space between them (this is what makes them crispy!). Use 3 or 4 baking trays if you need to.
- Bake for 10 minutes, remove from the oven, flip, and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, watching at the end so that they don’t burn.
- Sprinkle with sea salt to taste and serve with the garlic ‘mayo’.
