Ingredients
- 3 small cans white tuna
- 12 slices fresh wheat or white bread
- 1 diced fresh avocado
- 1 package room temperature plain cream cheese
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
How to Make It
- The key here is to choose very fresh bread. Cut the crust and use a rolling pin to thin out the bread slices.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly on all the slices.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, lime juice, and hot sauce.
- Spread some of the tuna mixture on top of the cream cheese and also add a few diced avocados.
- Proceed to roll the sushi as you would with regular sushi.
- Secure the bread tightly and cut 1-inch thick sushi rolls, and serve right away or refrigerate until ready to serve.
