This is a quick and simple recipe, good for if you don’t have much time for cooking. Use fresh vegetables in season. Serve with Jasmine rice.
Ingredients
- 200 g vegetables
- 250 g of thinly slices pork (instead you can use prawns, chicken or squid)
- 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

- Wash the vegetables you want to cook then cut them into 2 inch lengths Crush the garlic in a mortar, enough to fill 2 tablespoons Slice the pork Prepare all the sauces ready for cooking. Mix corn flour in water. For Cooking
- Heat the pan then put the oil in and use a high heat. After that add the crushed garlic and stir until you can smell aromatic garlic and the color turns slightly brown.
- Add pork and stir until it’s cooked (about 5 minutes).
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, stir and taste the sauce. If required add ingredients half teaspoon (small amount) at a time and taste until you get the taste you like.
- Then add all vegetables then stir quickly after 20 seconds add the corn flour water mixture a small amount at a time and stir for a few seconds. The corn flour water will make the sauce thicker. When the sauce turns from white to brown it is cooked. Turn off the heat and remove from pan.
- Serve with Jasmine rice.
