Ingredients
- 1⁄2 batch Buttercream Frosting
- 24 Perfect Chocolate Cupcakes, or cupcakes of your choice
- 24 Hershey’s Kisses
- 48 candy eyes
- 2 (10.5-ounce) bags mini marshmallows
- 1⁄4 cup light cocoa candy melts
- 48 mini chocolate chips
- 12 heart sprinkles, optional
How to Make It
- Use a small spatula to add a thin layer of Buttercream Frosting to the tops of your prepared cupcakes; you will not use all of the icing.
- Take the wrappers off of the Hershey’s Kisses and place an upside-down Hershey’s Kiss on the front edge of each cupcake.
- Place a small amount of Buttercream Frosting on the back of the candy eyes and use it as a glue to adhere the eyes to the bottom of the Hershey’s Kiss.
- Place marshmallows on top of the cupcake surrounding the Hershey’s Kiss, making sure to thoroughly cover the Buttercream Frosting.
- Melt cocoa candy melts in a candy melting electric pot according to package instructions, or in the microwave at 30-second increments. Using a small toothpick and melted chocolate apply mini chocolate chips to the top of the Hershey’s Kiss head. Using the toothpick and melted chocolate, draw on a smile directly below the eyes.
- Repeat previous steps until you have 24 Sheep Cupcakes.
- If desired, add heart sprinkles to the top of your Hershey’s Kiss with a tiny amount of Buttercream Frosting to half of your sheep to divide them into girls and boys.
