Very tender pork chops in a great cream soup.
Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup white flour
- ½ teaspoons paprika
- ½ teaspoons cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 sliced bell pepper
- 1½ cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons white flour
How to Make It
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper.
- Combine the flour with the paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder.
- Dredge he pork chops through the seasoned flour.
- Transfer the pork chop to the slow cooper and add the onion slices, mushrooms, and bell pepper.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chops. Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Remove the pork chops to a platter and keep warm.
- Add the sour cream, cream cheese and 2 tablespoons flour to the juices in the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 20 minutes. Cover the pork chops with the sauce.
