Ingredients
- 1 portion of pizza dough (300 g)
- 250 g of mozzarella
- 200 g fried or boiled chicken breast fillet
- 4 thin slices of smoked bacon
- 1 medium red sweet onion
- 1/3 Cup of not-so-sweet strawberry jam
- ¼ cups balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon hot chili sauce
- 5 sprigs of cilantro
- 8 - 10 strawberries
- 2 tbsp of semolina
How to Make It
- Place a metal baking sheet on the middle level of the oven. Preheat the oven to 225 C. Fry the bacon in a frying pan until it becomes crispy, transfer to paper towels to absorb excess fat. Break into small pieces.
- Pour balsamic vinegar into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 4-5 minutes until the liquid is half boiled. Add strawberry jam and hot sauce and mix well. Remove from heat and cool.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a circle with a diameter of 35 cm. Sprinkle a sheet of baking paper with semolina and transfer the dough to it.
- Peel the onions and cut into thin half-rings. Cut chicken fillet into small cubes and mix with 2 tablespoons of balsamic sauce. Pour the rest of the sauce over the dough and spread evenly, leaving 2 cm free on the edge. Put the chicken on the dough.
- Sprinkle ¾ of the cheese on the chicken, then spread the bacon and onion. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Place the pizza on a hot baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges of the dough become Golden. Remove the pizza from the oven and allow to cool slightly, 1-2 min. Slice the strawberries and finely chop cilantro. Sprinkle pizza with coriander and strawberries and serve immediately.
