There is something almost luxurious about having a nice cleansing hot drink like this. It makes me feel that I am treating myself to a mini spa treatment.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Pure maple syrup (optional)
- Mint, to garnish (optional)
How to Make It
- Boil the water in a small saucepan, add the lemon juice and ginger, and maple syrup, if using.
- If using sliced ginger, let steep for several minutes and then remove before drinking. Garnish with mint if desired.
