Hot lemon belly aid recipe

There is something almost luxurious about having a nice cleansing hot drink like this. It makes me feel that I am treating myself to a mini spa treatment.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pure maple syrup (optional)
  • Mint, to garnish (optional)
How to Make It
  1. Boil the water in a small saucepan, add the lemon juice and ginger, and maple syrup, if using.
  2. If using sliced ginger, let steep for several minutes and then remove before drinking. Garnish with mint if desired.
