Ingredients
- Wild caught socceye Alaskan salmon (Nah, that's not a type, cuz!)
- Cajun blackened seasoning
- Cast iron griddle
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- Vegetable oil
How to Make It
- With the skin on, fillet the salmon. We already told y’all what kind of salmon to get, but we gon’ stress it one more time - no foreign-raised salmon!
- Take the Cajun blackened seasoning, butter, old bay and garlic powder, and drizzle the melted butter over the fish, adding the seasoning.
- Heat up your griddle really hot with some vegetable oil. Place the fish face down, skin side up, and sear it. It’s going to get black immediately. Take a fish spatula and flip it, add water to steam and cover it for 15 minutes. Easy!
