This asparagus recipe is so quick and easy to make and goes well with just about any dish.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus, rinsed
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced (1½ to 2 teaspoons)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 to 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
How to Make It
- Cut off and discard 1 inch from the ends of the asparagus.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Place the asparagus in the pan and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until fork-tender. Flip the asparagus spears occasionally so they don’t burn. Season with the salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with the Parmesan just before serving. Enjoy while hot.
