Gailled king oyster mushrooms recipe

Deliciously marinated, juicy mushrooms cooked on the barbecue are an amazing explosion of flavour. Our grilled king oyster mushrooms in a balsamic vinegar and thyme marinade are not to be missed.

Ingredients

  • 250 g king oyster mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • ½ tsp salt
How to Make It
  1. Clean the mushrooms and halve them lengthways.
  2. For the marinade, finely chop or crush the garlic and mix with the remaining ingredients until smooth.
  3. Add the mushrooms to the marinade, stir well and leave for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Thread the mushrooms onto bamboo skewers that have been well soaked in water. Cook over indirect heat for 8 minutes each side.
