Deliciously marinated, juicy mushrooms cooked on the barbecue are an amazing explosion of flavour. Our grilled king oyster mushrooms in a balsamic vinegar and thyme marinade are not to be missed.
Ingredients
- 250 g king oyster mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- ½ tsp salt
How to Make It
- Clean the mushrooms and halve them lengthways.
- For the marinade, finely chop or crush the garlic and mix with the remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Add the mushrooms to the marinade, stir well and leave for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Thread the mushrooms onto bamboo skewers that have been well soaked in water. Cook over indirect heat for 8 minutes each side.
