This recipe includes a unique ingredient for pulled pork: Dr. Pepper. This adds a hint of sweet and savory taste to the pork. After the first time making this recipe, it will become a favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of pork roast
- 1 can Dr. Pepper
- 1 pack onion soup mix
How to Make It
- Place the pork into the crock pot. Then lightly spread the onion soup mix over the pork. Next pour on the Dr. Pepper. Now cook for 4-5 hours on high.
- Once it is finished cooking, drain any excess juice and shred the pork with a fork. Then serve on buns with BBQ sauce if desired.
