Ingredients
- 4 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 6 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup raspberries
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- Place 8 ramekins on a baking sheet.
- Combine the heavy cream, vanilla and nutmeg in a saucepan and keep stirring until the cream reaches a boiling point.
- Add the chocolate chips and stir until the chocolate melts and remove from heat.
- Whisk together the sugar and egg yolks and pour into the cream mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the ramekins.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Refrigerate the brulees for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle each brulee with the additional sugar and place under the broiler for 2 minutes.
- Top with raspberries.
