Creamed spinach recipe

It’s nice to be able to make simple side dishes in the slow cooker when your stop top and oven are being used. And it couldn’t be any easier to make. BTW, this also makes a great dip.

  • Yield: 6 Servings
  • Preparation Time: 6 Hours

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen spinach, squeezed of all liquid
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • ¼ cup white flour
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoons nutmeg
How to Make It
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Transfer the ingredients to a slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours.
