This simple appetizer or snack involves the minimum of fuss.
Ingredients
- 1 package cream cheese
- Soy sauce
- Toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green apples (cored, finely sliced)
- 2 pears (cored, thinly sliced)
- Sesame crackers
How to Make It
- First, take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature overnight.
- The following morning, poke small holes in the cheese and pour the soy sauce over the top.
- Roll the block of cream cheese in the toasted sesame seeds.
- In an ovenproof bowl or dish, on low heat, gently bake in order to slightly warm the cream cheese.
- Serve immediately with slices of apple and pears on crackers.
