Corned beef and cabbage recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-lb corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 1 bottle Guinness beer
  • 6 sliced carrots
  • 10 small baby potatoes
  • 2 quartered onions
  • 1 chopped small cabbage
  • ¼ cup mustard
How to Make It
  1. Place the brisket in the slow cooker and add a cup of water and beer.
  2. Stir in the spice packet.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours
  4. Open the lid and add the potatoes, onions and carrots. Cook on low for 3 hours.
  5. Open the lid and add the chopped cabbage.
  6. Cook on low for another hour. Serve with mustard.
