Chocolate self-saucing pudding recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • sauce
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 30 grams butter, melted
For Sauce
How to Make It
  1. Place flour and cocoa powder in a bowl. Mix in brown sugar, milk and butter. Stir well to combine. Spoon into a 4.5 quart camp oven.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar and cocoa powder from sauce ingredients on top of pudding mixture. Carefully pour boiling water over the back of a spoon on top of sugar and cocoa.
  3. Place lid on and cook pudding for 40-45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched. Serve with cream or custard.
