Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- Sea salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 drops hot chili oil
- 1 teaspoon tamari
- ½ package extra-firm tofu, diced
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds, for garnish
How to Make It
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat and sauté onion, garlic, and celery until onion is translucent.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Add cabbage, ginger, salt, and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add chili oil, tamari, and tofu and stir well.
- Garnish with lemon zest and chia seeds.
