Ingredients
- 6 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into ¼-inch slices
- 3 cups sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 3 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
How to Make It
- Place 1 Tbsp. water and all ingredients in a 6-qt. Dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil over high heat; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and glazed, stirring occasionally.
