You’ll love this savory golden chicken…it’s oh-so flavorful, yet takes little effort to prepare.
Ingredients
- 10 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 c. water
- ½ c. lemon juice
- 2 T. butter, sliced
- 2 T. paprika
- 2 t. brown sugar, packed
- 2 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 1 t. dried rosemary
- 1 t. chicken bouillon granules
- ¼ t. cayenne pepper
- ¼ t. nutmeg
How to Make It
- Arrange chicken in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over mediumhigh heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
- Spoon mixture over chicken. Cover with aluminum foil; bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Uncover; baste chicken with pan drippings.
- Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees. Bake, uncovered, an additional 20 minutes, or until chicken is crisp and golden.
