Bruschetta is such a classic appetizer. If you want to impress your friends or family, add a little tuna. Not only it gives it a unique and interesting taste, but it is an easy way to make your kids try fish.
Ingredients
- 1 regular size baguette (wheat or white, your choice), sliced 1 inch thick
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
- 1½ cup chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Pinch of cumin
- 1 or 2 cans of tune in oil, well drained
- 1 cup crumbled goat cheese
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 450 °F.
- In a small skillet, heat some oil. Cook the grail, herbs, and tomatoes for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Brush olive oil on each slice of bread.
- Add a generous portion of the tomato mixture, then add the tuna and the goat cheese.
- Place on a greased baking sheet. Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes or so.
- Serve as appetizers or as a side bread with your favorite pasta dish.
