This is a low-fodmap version of a classic smoothie with a hint of ginger. It uses half of an unripe banana because in 2017 bananas were retested and found only to be low-fodmap in this portion. If you tolerate ripe bananas, you can continue using them in your smoothies and beyond.
Ingredients
- ½ unripe banana, frozen
- ½ cup oat milk
- ¼ cup lactose-free yogurt
- 5 walnuts
- 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
- One ½-inch piece peeled ginger
How to Make It
- Combine all the ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Add ice, if desired.
