Ingredients
- 8 ounces crumbled breakfast sausage
- 2 red apples, diced
- 1 16-ounce can biscuit dough, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1½ cups grated Cheddar (6 ounces)
How to Make It
- Cook the sausage in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat until browned. Stir in the apples.
- Cook until the apples are soft; transfer mixture to a bowl. In the bowl, toss in the biscuit dough.
- Spread the mixture in the skillet and top with the Cheddar. Bake at 425°F until golden, 22 minutes.
