Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- powdered sugar
- 1 Cup flour
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 0.3 cups warm water
- 0.25 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How to Make It
- Heat milk in advance to room temperature. Pour into a large bowl, add warm water, salt and dry yeast. Add the sifted flour and mix. Add olive oil.
- Knead the dough thoroughly, cover with a film and put in a warm place for 40 minutes.If the dough is not sufficiently elastic, add a little more olive oil.
- Wash apples, dry and cut into thin circles.Remove the core very carefully.
- Punch down the dough and transfer to floured work surface. Once again, knead and using a rolling pin to roll out the cake, the diameter of which should be much larger than the diameter of the baking dish. When a few seconds later the dough begins to shrink, secure its edges to the size of the form, just tightly pressing their hands.
- Lay in a circle on the dough circles of the apples, leaving the edges free about 1-1. 5 cm. Let stand for 10 min.
